High School Diploma/GED required
CRCST or CSPDT Certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation required
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Job Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Assemble, wrap, and prepare surgical trays and instrument sets
Operate steam, gas plasma, and sterilization equipment
Monitor sterilization processes using biological, chemical, and mechanical indicators
Maintain inventory and stock sterile supplies
Support operating room turnover and tray availability
Ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and hospital standards
Deliver sterile instruments and equipment throughout the hospital
Required Skills:
Sterile Processing and Instrument Reprocessing experience
Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and tray assembly
Experience with sterilization equipment and quality monitoring
Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer proficiency
