Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. Customs entries, including entry summaries and ISF filings, for import shipments.
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and confirm classifications with a supervisor when needed.
• Enter and maintain shipment and entry data in company systems, including CargoWise.
• Communicate with customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect documentation.
• Monitor entry status and follow up on holds, exams, or requests for additional information from CBP.
• Keep accurate, organized records to support compliance and audit requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus.
• 1-2 years exp
• Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work on-site five days a week.
